Lucía Sánchez
We were thrilled to announce that Lucía Sánchez Roldán, who graduated in 2013, is Alumnus of the Year 2019-2020 in our December 2019 Celebration Assembly.
Lucía was introduced by two teachers who helped shape Lucía’s pathway: Dr. Aurora Brox (Biology and Chemistry specialist) and Ms. Camilla Marchant (Drama specialist).
In 2013, Lucía moved to London to embark on a BSc in Natural Sciences followed by an MSc specialising in Physics and Politics, Communication and Ethics at UCL.
Having completed this stage of her education, she enrolled at RADA specialising in lighting.
Lucía is remembered very fondly by all who had the pleasure of teaching and working with her.
She is a strong, decisive and open-minded woman characterised by her search of challenge and her positive spirit.
She is kind and cheerful and the embodiment of ELIS Murcia values.
Her determination is admirable and she is a true role model for younger pupils to follow using her confidence and courage to chase her dreams.
