Graduation of the Largest Ever ELIS Murcia Year Group
On Wednesday 25th June, we joyfully celebrated the graduation of our Year 13 students at the Montevida campus. This year’s ceremony marked a historic moment for ELIS Murcia, as we said farewell to the largest graduating class in our history – a total of 56 students, now ready to pursue higher education at top universities in Spain, the UK and the Netherlands.
The main ceremony, held in the school theatre, was hosted by Miranda Hopkins, Head of Sixth Form. The event opened with a warm welcome from Lealand Pearce, Director of Secondary and Sixth Form, followed by remarks from Toni Marín, Director Técnico.
Our student leaders —Graciela Rodríguez, Alba Martínez, Sabina Eversden and Beatriz Cullinan— delivered moving speeches, sharing memories, gratitude and hopeful messages for the future.
Throughout the event, all speakers highlighted the importance of the well-rounded education received at ELIS Murcia, not only academically but also in terms of values — a foundation that will undoubtedly open doors to both personal and professional success.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional imposition of the mortarboard and stole, a powerful symbol of the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Following the formal proceedings, families, students and staff enjoyed a cocktail reception where memories, hugs and heartfelt emotions were shared in abundance.
From all of us at ELIS Murcia, we warmly congratulate the Class of 2025. You are now part of our Alumni community, and we look forward to following your future achievements. Remember — this will always be your home!
