We are thrilled to share the joyous celebration of our Year 13 Graduation Ceremony, held last Friday at our Montevida campus. The day commenced with a touching intimate preparatory ceremony in the morning, setting the tone for the event to come.

The main ceremony began at 5:30 pm with a warm welcome from the Head of Upper School, Lealand Pearce, followed by an inspiring address from the Director Técnico, Toni Marín. Student leaders and members of the Student Council shared heartfelt speeches, offering words of encouragement for the future and expressing gratitude to their families for their support, as well as to ELIS Murcia, for providing them with a comprehensive education both in values and academics.

The presence of parents, family members and esteemed guests added to the significance of the occasion. We were also honoured to have the President of the AMPA, Raquel Martínez García, join us in celebrating this milestone.

Addressing the graduates, Miranda Hopkins, Head of Sixth Form, expressed her confidence in their abilities and reminded them of the values they embody as ELIS Alumni. The highlight of the ceremony was the traditional imposition of the mortarboard and stole, symbolizing the culmination of their academic journey.

In addition to the speeches, the ceremony featured a fantastic musical performance by Daniela Reina, singing a beautiful song, accompanied by Andrés Jiménez on the piano.

Following the formal proceedings, attendees enjoyed a delightful cocktail reception in our outdoor classroom, where fond memories were shared and cherished.

As we bid farewell to our graduating class, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a bright and successful future. Remember, you will always be part of the ELIS family and we look forward to hearing about your achievements in the years to come.

Congratulations, Class of 2024!
